Bernard Landry (French: [bɛʁnaʁ lɑ̃dʁi]; March 9, 1937 – November 6, 2018), was a Canadian lawyer, teacher, politician. He was the leader of the Parti Québécois (2001–2005) and was the 28th Premier of Quebec (2001–2003), and leader of the Opposition (2003–2005). He was born in Saint-Jacques, Quebec.
Landry died on November 6, 2018 from complications of pulmonary fibrosis in Verchères near Montreal at the age of 81.
