Club career

Ehiogu began his senior career in the late 1980s and is best known for lengthy spells at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, where he played a key role in domestic cup successes. He also had periods with other English clubs, including West Bromwich Albion, Leeds United and Sheffield United. Toward the end of his professional playing days he spent time in Scotland with Rangers, a club competing in the Scottish Premier League.
