This article is about the Turkish Grand Prix in Formula One; for the World Motorcycle Championship Grand Prix races, see Turkish Grand Prix (motorcycle).
The Turkish Grand Prix is the name of a Formula 1 race.
This Grand Prix was held for the first time in the 2005 Formula One World Championship. The venue was the Istanbul Park Circuit in the Asian part of Istanbul, in the Kurtköy district of Turkey. The record winner is Felipe Massa with three victories.
From 2012 to 2019, the Turkish Grand Prix did not take place.
After a number of races were cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, replaced by Grands Prix that were not on the original calendar, the Turkish GP made its comeback after nine years. The original 2021 race calendar again did not include the GP, but after the cancellation of the Canadian Grand Prix, the Turkish Grand Prix was announced as the replacement event. On 14 May 2021, it was announced that the Turkish Grand Prix had also been cancelled.
