Bedford is a town in Westchester County, New York, USA. The population was 17,335 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 39.4 square miles (102.1 km2), of which 37.2 square miles (96.3 km2) is land and 2.2 square miles (5.8 km2), or 5.70%, is water. The town is bordered to the west by Mount Kisco and the town of New Castle.
