Shane Gibson — American guitarist and touring musician

Early life

Gibson was born in Houma and spent his childhood in the Gulf region of the United States. He was raised in Fort Walton Beach, in Florida, after being born in Louisiana. During his youth he developed his technique through practice, local performances and early collaborations that prepared him for national touring.

Career and collaborations

Gibson is best known for serving as a touring guitarist for the nu metal band Korn, supporting the group onstage and contributing to live arrangements. He co-founded the progressive metal project stOrk and performed with the solo band of Jonathan Davis, often credited as Jonathan Davis and the SFA. His career included studio work, session appearances and live dates with a range of artists, including performances linked to violinist L. Shankar and others across stylistic boundaries.
