Paraná Clube

History and formation

The club originated when Esporte Clube Pinheiros (often called Pinheiros) and Colorado Esporte Clube (commonly Colorado) combined resources and supporters to create a larger club able to compete nationally. The merger in 1989 aimed to concentrate talent and finance, drawing a broader fan base across the city and state. From that point Paraná built teams for senior and youth competition and invested in infrastructure.

Identity, stadium and colors

Paraná Clube is nicknamed the "Tricolor" in reference to its three principal colors: red, white and blue. The team's traditional home ground is Estádio Vila Capanema (Durival de Brito e Silva), located in Curitiba, which hosts league and cup matches and is a focal point for local supporters. The club crest and kits consistently reflect the tri-color scheme.

Competition, development and achievements

Paraná has competed in state-level tournaments such as the Campeonato Paranaense and has participated in Brazil's national league system at different levels. The club operates a youth academy and development squads that have produced professional players and supplied talent to Brazilian and international clubs.
