Ouville-la-Bien-Tournée is a former commune in the northwest of France. It was located in the Calvados department and historically belonged to the Basse-Normandie region (the area is now part of the larger Normandy region after territorial reorganisation).

Administrative change

On 1 January 2017 the commune ceased to exist as an independent municipality when it was merged into the newly created commune of Saint-Pierre-en-Auge. From that date local administration and services have been managed at the level of the new commune.

Notes

  • The term "commune" refers to the lowest level of administrative division in France.
  • The regional reorganisation that replaced Basse-Normandie with a larger Normandy region took effect in 2016.
