Ojo, Lagos

Ojo is a locality in Nigeria and one of the 20 Local Government Areas (LGA) of Lagos State.
Ojo is located west of Lagos and includes several lagoons. The LGA has an area of 158.16 km² and is bordered by Alimosho and Amuwo Odofin to the east and Badagry to the west. At the last census in 2006, the population was 502,865, giving Ojo a population of 3179 per square kilometre.
Ojo is the headquarters of Lagos State University and Volkswagen AG in Nigeria.
