Anjan Das (13 June 1951 – 2 June 2014) was an Indian film director best known for his work in the Bengali language. Over a career that spanned several decades he made a number of films; his most widely recognised picture is Faltu (2006), which received a National Film Award in the Best Feature Film category.

Personal life and death
Born on 13 June 1951, Das was married and had a son. He died on 2 June 2014 at the age of 62 after suffering from colon cancer. He was survived by his wife and son.
