Academic structure and programs

FEU is organized into colleges and schools that cover liberal arts, business, engineering, architecture, fine arts, education, health sciences, law and graduate studies. Campus, architecture and collections

The main campus is noted for its distinctive Art Deco architecture and several buildings regarded as important examples of 20th-century Philippine design. The university also houses an art collection and galleries used for teaching and public exhibitions, reflecting a long-standing interest in preserving cultural heritage alongside academic activities.

History and development

Founded in the late 1920s by an educator who aimed to provide professional training in commerce and public service, FEU expanded over decades from a specialised institute into a comprehensive university. Growth included new faculties, graduate education, and additional campuses to serve students in the region while adapting curricula to changing national needs.

Student life, athletics and public role

Student organizations, performing groups, publications and varsity sports are active parts of campus life. FEU's athletic teams have competed in national collegiate leagues, and alumni have been prominent in business, government, education and the arts.
