Équirre is a small commune located in northern France. It sits within the territory of the Pas-de-Calais department, which forms part of the country's northern mainland.

Administrative context

Until the regional reorganisation of 2016, Équirre was placed in the region known as Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Today that former region has been incorporated into the larger administrative entity created by the reform, but historical references and older records continue to show the Nord-Pas-de-Calais designation.

Notes

  • The commune is one of many small local municipalities that make up the departmental structure of Pas-de-Calais.
  • For administrative and statistical purposes Équirre is catalogued under the same national systems used across France.
