Deșteaptă-te, române! (Romanian pronunciation: [deʃˈte̯aptəte roˈmɨne]; "Wake up, Romanians!" or "Awaken ye, Romanians!") is the Romanian national anthem. For a short amount of time, it was also the national anthem of the Moldavian Democratic Republic from 1917 to 1918, and of the Moldavian Republic from 1991 to 1994. It has been the national anthem of present-day Romania since 1990.
