David Legwand (born August 17, 1980) is an American former professional ice hockey player best known for his long career in the National Hockey League. A native of Detroit, Michigan, he played primarily at the center position and was selected second overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
Career
Legwand spent the majority of his NHL years with the Nashville Predators, where he emerged as a reliable two-way forward and a steady point producer.
