Thomas Mark Barrett (born December 8, 1953) is an American politician and diplomat. A member of the Democratic Party, he has served in public office at municipal, congressional and diplomatic levels in the United States. In 2022 he began service as the United States Ambassador to Luxembourg, a post that followed a long career in elected office.

Early public career and U.S. House of Representatives
