Isabella Acres (born February 21, 2001) is an American television actress who began performing in childhood. She was born in Atlanta and first appeared on stage in local children's theatre before her family moved to Los Angeles so she could pursue screen work. Her younger sister, Ava, has also worked as an actress.
Notable television work
Acres is widely recognized for her series-regular part as Rose Crisp on the sitcom Better Off Ted. The character is the seven-year-old daughter of Ted (played by Jay Harrington) and is often portrayed as unusually composed compared with the adults around her.
In addition to that regular role, Acres has appeared in single-episode guest spots on a number of television series, including Monk, The Mentalist — in which she portrayed the daughter of Patrick Jane (actor Simon Baker) — and the Disney sitcom Hannah Montana.
Recurring roles and recognition
She also had a recurring part as Soleil Friedman during the second season of the Fox drama Touch. For her guest turn on The Mentalist, Acres received a nomination at the Young Artist Awards in 2009 for Best Performance in a TV Series, Guest Starring Young Actress.
