Frits Korthals Altes (born 15 May 1931) is a retired Dutch politician best known for his long involvement in liberal politics. He was a prominent member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and held several senior party and government posts over decades. In recognition of his service he was appointed Minister of State on 26 October 2001.
