Alistair Browning (8 February 1954 – 2 June 2019) was a New Zealand actor whose career spanned film, television and theatre. Born in Dunedin, he became a familiar face in New Zealand productions and appeared in international projects, most famously in Peter Jackson's film adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkien's novels.
