William Lyon (March 9, 1923 – May 22, 2020) was a major general in the United States Air Force. He served as Commander of the Air Force Reserve Command and, in his capacity as Chief of Air Force Reserve, acted as the principal adviser on reserve affairs to the Air Force Chief of Staff.
