Wamego is a city in Pottawatomie County, Kansas, United States.

The population was 4,372 at the 2010 census, and a 2016 estimate placed the number of residents at 4,715.

Geography

The Kansas River flows along the southern edge of the city, forming part of Wamego’s southern boundary.
