Walter Lassally (18 December 1926 – 23 October 2017) was a German-born British-Greek cinematographer. He won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography in 1964 for the movie Zorba the Greek. He was born in Berlin. He moved to England in 1939. He was closely worked with the Free cinema movement in the 1950s, and the British New Wave in the early 1960s.

Lassally died on October 23, 2017 at a hospital in Crete, Greece from complications of surgery at the age of 90.
