Background

The ballad was composed by Diane Warren for Céline Dion's album Falling into You and produced by David Foster. Warren dedicated the song to her father. The title was also used for the US film Up Close with Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Redford.

The single charted worldwide and went to #1 in the US.

Awards

The song won a Grammy for Best TV/Movie Song in 1997, as well as being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Movie Song and a Golden Globe in the same category.
