Street Sharks: 1994 Animated Series about Human–Shark Hybrids

Premise

The series follows four brothers who are transformed into human‑shark hybrids after becoming victims of a rogue genetic experiment. The villainous scientist known as Dr. Paradigm conducts gene‑manipulation tests — including trials on a marlin and a lobster — which lead to a chain of events that permanently alters the Bolton family.

Dr. Bolton, a colleague who attempted to stop Paradigm, is himself altered by the evil scientist before he can escape. Paradigm then abducts Bolton’s four sons and subjects them to the same experiments, turning the boys into powerful, shark‑like beings. Shortly after their transformation they create a chaotic escape (infamously involving the demolition of a hot dog stand), evade the police by diving into a nearby lake and tunnel back into the city by burrowing through soil. The brothers set out to capture Dr. Paradigm, hoping to force him to reverse their mutations and to expose his illegal genetic work.
