
Santiago Lanzuela Marina (27 September 1948 – 16 April 2020) was a Spanish politician from Teruel. He belonged to the Aragonese Party and served as the head of the regional administration of Aragon between 1995 and 1999.
Political career
Lanzuela’s most prominent public office was the presidency of the Government of Aragon, a position he held for a single term from 1995 to 1999. He was affiliated with regional political movements in Aragon and participated in the autonomous community’s political life during the 1990s.
Death
Santiago Lanzuela died in Madrid on 16 April 2020 at the age of 71. The cause of death was COVID-19, during the early months of the pandemic in Spain.
