Saint-Caprais-de-Blaye was a commune in the Gironde department of southwestern France. Located on the northern side of the Gironde estuary in a landscape of vineyards and farmland, it formed part of the historic Aquitaine region and—after the 2016 territorial reorganization—lies within the larger Nouvelle-Aquitaine area. On 1 January 2019 the commune was merged into the new administrative entity Val-de-Livenne.

The former commune occupied a small rural territory typical of the Blaye area, characterized by rolling agricultural land, local roads connecting nearby villages and proximity to the Gironde estuary. Administratively it belonged to the Gironde department and to the broader regional structures that manage local services, planning and cultural affairs.
