Phil Leeds (April 6, 1916 – August 16, 1998) was an American character actor who worked steadily in television and motion pictures for several decades. He was frequently cast in small but memorable supporting parts, and is widely remembered for a brief but notable role as one of the spirits in the film Ghost.
Career
Leeds built a long career as a reliable guest performer on sitcoms and comedy series. He often played eccentric or avuncular figures and appeared across a broad range of popular programs from the 1960s through the 1990s.
