Early life and acting

Cyrus grew up around music and entertainment. As a child she had brief on-screen appearances, including cameo parts on the family-oriented Disney series Hannah Montana. These early roles were limited, and she moved away from acting toward music in her mid-teens.

Music career and releases

Noah Cyrus launched a music career in the 2010s and has released singles, extended plays and a full-length album. Her debut single, released in 2016, featured British artist Labrinth and introduced her as a pop vocalist with emotional, intimate material. Subsequent releases include a 2018 EP, the breakthrough single "July" in 2019, an EP in 2020, and her first studio album in the early 2020s. Her catalogue often explores themes of vulnerability, relationships and mental health.

  • Debut single (2016) with Labrinth that brought initial attention
  • EP released in 2018 that expanded her sound
  • Single "July" (2019) noted for its stripped-back style

Style and public image

Musically, Cyrus blends pop with indie and folk influences and occasionally draws on country elements inherited from her upbringing. Critics and listeners often describe her work as intimate and confessional. Beyond music, she has been public about mental health topics and has used her platform to discuss personal challenges.

Noah Cyrus is distinct from other members of her family for developing a quieter, more contemplative pop persona rather than pursuing high-profile acting or mainstream pop theatrics. Her career illustrates a transition from child performer to a recording artist crafting a personal artistic identity.
