Lavrentis Machairitsas (Greek: Λαυρέντης Μαχαιρίτσας; 5 November 1956 – 9 September 2019) was a prominent Greek rock musician, composer and singer-songwriter. Over a career that spanned several decades he became known for blending rock instrumentation with melodic, often introspective songwriting and a distinct vocal delivery. His work is widely regarded as part of the modern Greek rock tradition.

Machairitsas was born in the port city of Volos, in the region of Thessaly. He began performing in local bands and gradually moved into songwriting and solo performance.
