Lancy is a municipality municipality of the canton canton of Geneva in Switzerland. Located on the left bank of the Rhône river close to Geneva’s urban core, Lancy functions as a mix of residential districts, light commercial areas and public amenities. As recorded in December 2016, the population was about 31,661 people.

Lancy occupies part of the plain beside the Rhône and is contiguous with the city of Geneva.
