Overview
Jesse Lingard (born 15 December 1992 in Warrington) is an English professional footballer who operates mainly as an attacking midfielder or winger. A long-time member of Manchester United's system, he has also represented the England senior national team. Lingard is recognised for his energy, dribbling and tendency to make late runs into the penalty area.
Club career and development
Lingard joined Manchester United's youth setup as a child and progressed through the academy to the first team.
