Hombourg (German: Homburg, Alsatian: Humburg) is a French commune with 1340 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2018) in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace).
In the Forêt domaniale de la Hardt Sud, the Rhine-Rhone Canal coming from the south changes direction to the west. One place of interest is the Château de Hombourg on the edge of the forest. On the Rhine side canal is an industrial zone. Hombourg borders on Neuenburg am Rhein in Germany to the east. The northern neighbouring municipality is Ottmarsheim, to the south is Petit-Landau, the western neighbouring municipalities are Habsheim and Rixheim.

The municipality calls itself "La Capitale du Golf" - there is an 18-hole course on its grounds, and a second since 2008. They are part of the Drei-Thermen Golf Resort based in Bad Bellingen, where two other 18-hole courses are located.
