Cover Drive

Cover Drive is a four piece pop band from Barbados.

Biography

Cover Drive were discovered when they uploaded their "Fedora Sessions" to YouTube, featuring several hit cover versions, including an acoustic version of Hey, Soul Sister by the band Train. In their home country, they were subsequently hired as the opening act for Rihanna's performance on her Loud Tour. They also got a record deal and went to London to record an album. Their first release in the UK was the song Lick Ya Down, produced by J. R. Rotem, in September 2011. It immediately reached the Top 10. In anticipation of the album, the second single Twilight was released in early 2012. It went straight to #1 in the UK charts at the end of January.
