Colin Clark (April 11, 1984 – August 26, 2019) was an American professional soccer player known primarily as a winger or forward in Major League Soccer (MLS). Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, he spent the bulk of his professional career with the Colorado Rapids and later the Houston Dynamo. Clark also made an appearance for the United States men's national team in 2009.
Career
Clark began his path in youth and college soccer in the United States and progressed to the professional ranks in the mid-2000s. He established himself in MLS with the Colorado Rapids from 2006 through 2010, where he developed a reputation as a workmanlike wide attacker. During his career he moved to Houston, representing the Dynamo from 2010 through 2012, and contributed as both a starter and substitute during his seasons in the league.
