Nikolay Havrylovych Shmatko (Ukrainian: Николай Гаврилович Шматько) (17 August 1943 – 15 September 2020) was a Ukrainian sculptor and painter whose career spanned the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Born in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, he worked in a variety of media and is remembered for figurative and ecclesiastical pieces that drew attention at both local and national levels.

Shmatko combined traditional figurative approaches with subjects drawn from religious, historical and allegorical sources. As both a sculptor and a painter, he created three-dimensional public works and smaller devotional images.
