Sheila Beryl Grant Attenborough, Lady Attenborough (5 June 1922 – 19 January 2016), who performed under the name Sheila Sim, was an English actress who worked on both stage and screen. Over a long career she became known for her stage work and for her association with the film community through her marriage to a leading filmmaker.
Early life
Sheila Sim was born in Liverpool, in the county of Lancashire. Details of her childhood and training laid the foundation for a professional life in theatre and film.

Sim died on 19 January 2016 at the age of 93. She had spent around two years living with dementia and passed away in a retirement home in London, England.
