Sheila Sim: English stage and screen actress and RADA benefactor (1922–2016)
Sheila Sim (1922–2016) was an English stage and screen actress, longtime RADA benefactor and wife of filmmaker Richard Attenborough, noted for a distinguished theatrical career and public service.
Sheila Beryl Grant Attenborough, Lady Attenborough (5 June 1922 – 19 January 2016), who performed under the name Sheila Sim, was an English actress who worked on both stage and screen. Over a long career she became known for her stage work and for her association with the film community through her marriage to a leading filmmaker.
