Barbro Margareta Svensson, widely known by her stage name Lill-Babs, was a prominent Swedish singer, actress and television presenter whose career spanned several decades. She became a household name in Sweden through recordings, live performances and frequent appearances on radio and television. Internationally she is also remembered for representing Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 1961, held in Cannes, with the song "April, april".

Death

Lill-Babs died on 3 April 2018 in Stockholm at the age of 80. The immediate cause was reported as heart failure, complicated by cancer, and official announcements referenced complications of heart disease (heart failure).
