William John Paul "Liam" Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is a British musician and songwriter. Gallagher is best known as a singer in the rock band Oasis alongside his older brother Noel before the band broke up in 2009. Gallagher later formed a new band called Beady Eye. Former Oasis members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock were also in the new band. Beady Eye broke up in 2014.
In 2010 Gallagher was selected as "best frontman" by reader's of Q magazine.
Since 2017, Gallagher has pursued a solo career.
