Joshua Treadwell McCown (born July 4, 1979 in Jacksonville, Texas) is an American former professional American football quarterback. Over a long career he was a regular presence on NFL rosters and had a notable spell with the New York Jets while competing in the National Football League.

McCown grew up in Texas and played at the collegiate level for Sam Houston State, where he played college football. His play at Sam Houston State led to his selection in the 2002 NFL Draft.
