Jesse Tyler Ferguson (born October 22, 1975) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Mitchell Pritchett in the ABC mockumentary sitcom Modern Family from 2009-2020. He has also had roles in the CBS sitcom The Class, the ABC comedy Ugly Betty and the 2016 animated movie Ice Age: Collision Course.
Ferguson was born in Missoula, Montana. He is openly gay, and married his husband Justin Mikita in 2013.
