DeJuan Lamont Blair (born April 22, 1989 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American former professional basketball player. Listed at 6 ft 7 in, he spent time in the National Basketball Association as an undersized but physical frontcourt player, capable of playing both power forward and center.

College

Blair played collegiate basketball for the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a standout rebounder and interior presence over two seasons before leaving school to pursue a professional career.

Professional career

After entering the professional ranks in 2009, Blair signed with the San Antonio Spurs, the team with which he made his NBA debut and for which he played from 2009 until 2013. He later joined the Dallas Mavericks for the 2013–2014 season and had a brief association with the Washington Wizards.

Playing style and legacy

Throughout his career Blair was noted for his strength, tenacity on the boards and ability to score around the rim despite being shorter than many opponents at his position. He is remembered for productive rebounding and efficient interior play during his time in the NBA and at Pittsburgh.
