Anna Benaki-Psarouda (born 12 December 1934) is a Greek lawyer, politician and scholar. She was born in Athens and has combined a professional legal career with service in national politics. Affiliated with the New Democracy party, she has held senior cabinet and parliamentary posts and later was elected to the Academy of Athens.
Political career and offices
Benaki-Psarouda served in several high-profile public roles. She was Minister of Justice in the Greek government and from 2004 to 2007 she held the office of Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament.
