Abelardo Fernández

Abelardo Fernández (born 19 March 1970), commonly known simply as Abelardo, is a Spanish former professional footballer and coach. Best known for his career as a central defender, he rose through the ranks at Sporting Gijón and later spent the prime of his playing days at FC Barcelona, where he competed regularly in domestic and European competitions.
