Bert van de Kamp (1947–2020) was a Dutch music journalist who wrote for Muziekkrant OOR, reported from London, and received the inaugural Pop Pers Prijs for his contributions to pop journalism.
Bert van de Kamp (8 March 1947 – 9 April 2020) was a prominent Dutch music journalist and interviewer whose work helped shape the Netherlands' pop press from the 1970s onward. Born in Rotterdam, he became known for long-form interviews and wide-ranging coverage of popular music, from hard rock to singer-songwriters and everything in between.

Career and reporting
Van de Kamp began attracting attention early in his career, winning a national contest in 1972 titled "Wordt Popjournalist en Vlieg naar Londen!" which aimed to encourage young writers to pursue popular music reporting. He joined Muziekkrant OOR as a staff writer in 1973 and contributed regularly through 1977. OOR was one of the leading Dutch music weeklies of the era, and van de Kamp's pieces appeared alongside reviews, features and scene reporting that documented a rapidly changing musical landscape.
From 1977 to 1980 he lived and worked in London as a correspondent for Muziekkrant OOR and the KRO radio and television magazine Studio. Based in a city that was a central hub for rock, punk and emerging pop movements, he reported on new developments for Dutch readers and helped connect the Netherlands' music scene with international trends.

Van de Kamp wrote across genres and generations, conducting interviews with established stars and rising acts. He was noted for an interview style that combined curiosity and respect, aiming to go beyond promotional questions and to capture the creative process and personalities behind popular music.
