Wenche Kvamme (19 June 1950 – 9 March 2019) was a Norwegian singer and actress whose career spanned theatre, television and music. Born in Bergen, she became a familiar presence on Norwegian stages and screens from the late 1970s onward. Stage career
Kvamme made her professional stage debut at Nationaltheatret in Oslo in 1977, and the following year was appointed to Den Nationale Scene in Bergen, the city's principal theatre. During her long association with Den Nationale Scene she took part in a wide range of productions, from contemporary Norwegian drama to classics.
