Career and notable roles

Marzello appeared in a variety of films and series over several decades. His screen credits include appearances in major motion pictures such as The Spy Who Loved Me, Superman and Never Say Never Again, and he worked on family and fantasy films like The Witches. On television he took guest and recurring parts in drama and crime series including Taggart, The House of Eliott, The Fragile Heart and Dalziel and Pascoe, and appeared in contemporary comedy projects as well.

One of Marzello's best known contributions was in children's television: he provided voices on the animated series Bob the Builder, most notably Farmer Pickles and the character Robert.
