Sinethemba Jantjie (15 February 1989 – 1 April 2019) was a South African professional footballer who played primarily as a winger. Born in Whittlesea, Eastern Cape, he progressed from local and lower-division football to the top tier of the domestic game, where he became known for his pace and direct style on the flank.
Early life and rise
Jantjie grew up in the Eastern Cape and came through regional systems before attracting attention from clubs outside his home province. His path reflects a common route in South African football in which players from smaller towns move into the national leagues after strong performances at lower levels.

After the 2015–2016 period with Mbombela United, he signed for Free State Stars, a club competing in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
