Playing career

Ramos spent the bulk of his club career with the Yomiuri team, which later became Verdy Kawasaki (now Tokyo Verdy). As a playmaking midfielder he was praised for ball control, vision and passing, helping his club win multiple domestic league and cup competitions. His professionalism and technical skill made him one of the best-regarded import players who settled and established a long-term career in Japan.

International career

After becoming a naturalized Japanese citizen, Ramos was selected for the Japan national team and played in the early 1990s.
