Orem is a city located in Utah County in the state of Utah, United States. Situated on the eastern shore of Utah Lake and along the Wasatch Front, Orem is part of the larger Provo–Orem metropolitan area. The community has been suburban and family-oriented, and it reported a population of about 84,300 as of the year 2000.
