Olga Feliú — Chilean lawyer and senator (1932–2017)

Olga Feliú Segovia (20 August 1932 – 25 June 2017) was a Chilean lawyer and public figure who served in the national Senate during the early years of Chile's return to democratic government. Trained in the law, she combined professional legal work with roles in public service and institutional advisory capacities throughout her career.

Born in Santiago de Chile, Feliú developed a legal career that brought her into contact with both the judicial system and civic institutions. Her work as a lawyer was the foundation for a later move into national politics at a time when Chilean institutions were being reshaped after a long authoritarian period. She became known for her careful, institutional approach to public affairs.

In 1990 the Supreme Court appointed Olga Feliú to the Senate, and she took office as a designated senator during the transitional period after the restoration of democratic rule. She served in the upper chamber until 1998, when her tenure concluded and she was succeeded by Enrique Silva Cimma.
