Atsushi Yanagisawa

Club career

Yanagisawa came to prominence in the J.League, where he spent the bulk of his club career with Kashima Antlers, one of Japan's most successful teams. His performances domestically earned him a move abroad, and he spent a season in Europe with Italian Serie A side Sampdoria. After returning to Japan he continued to play for several J.League clubs before retiring in the 2010s.
