Jalal Allakhverdiyev

Biography and career

Allakhverdiyev was born in Baku and spent much of his career within the Azerbaijani research establishment. In 1970 he became director of the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic, a position in which he played a leading role in directing research and training in computing, control theory and related mathematical areas.
